ABC’s Robin Roberts will interview Chris Brown for “20/20,” a move that has caused outrage among activists who still question the network’s decision to drop Adam Lambert from “Good Morning America” in the wake of his gay kiss on the “American Music Awards.”            

       The “20/20″ interview, taped last weekend and scheduled to air on Dec. 11, is being billed as an in-depth discussion about Brown’s assault of ex-girlfriend and recording superstar Rihanna in February. He is on probation for the beating.      

       According to Fox411, TV insiders say the appearance “has outraged feminists and gay activists who wonder why a convicted girlfriend abuser is more palatable to the network than an openly gay man who broke no laws with his raunchy performance on the “‘AMAs.’”      

       An ABC source told the column, “The network is giving a mixed message — that it doesn’t trust someone who shocked with an unpredictable show and a gay kiss, but then it is happy to go ahead with Chris Brown, who was convicted of felony assault.”      

       ABC News has insisted that Lambert’s sexual orientation did not play a role in its decision to pull him from “GMA” last week. ABC insiders said they ruled the “American Idol” star’s sexed-up antics on Sunday’s awards show — which included him groping a female dancer, kissing a male musician and shoving a male dancer’s face into his groin — were inappropriate for morning TV.

Updating the Tiger Woods story, Florida troopers who went to interview golfer and his wife on Saturday for more details on how his SUV struck a fire hydrant and a neighbor’s tree were told by his agent to come back tomorrow, Sunday (11-29-09), reports Reuters.

      Meanwhile, the woman accused by the National Enquirer of having an affair with Tiger Woods says the accusations are false.

      “I did not have an affair with Tiger Woods,” Rachel Uchitel tells US Weekly. “I met him twice and have not heard from him since.” She wished him a speedy recovery, but added, “I don’t understand why anyone would think this is anything to do with me.”

      Maybe because the National Enquirer is putting her on blast. The weekly gossip rag released part of its story online on Saturday. It seems she was ratted out by an Ashley Samson, who’s supposed to be a “close friend.”  Samson and others tell the tabloid that Uchitel had been bragging of an affair with Woods, and showing off cell phone texts, since June.

Two days before Tiger crashed his vehicle into a fire hydrant and a tree near his mansion in Windermere, Fla, the National Enquirer reported that the golf star had cheated on his wife Elin Nordegren with another model, New York club hostess Rachel Uchitel, while he was in Australia for a tournament.      

       
According to TMZ, Tiger told a friend on the phone Friday that his wife had scratched his face during an argument over the Enquirer story. According to the friend, Tiger said, “I have to run to Zales to get a ‘Kobe Special.’” The person on the other end of the phone asked Tiger what a “Kobe Special” was. The reply — “A house on a finger.”      

       During the conversation, Tiger said his wife had “gone ghetto” on him.      

        In the released 911 call made after Tiger’s accident, the caller, a male, can be heard telling dispatchers, “I need an ambulance immediately, I have someone down outside my house … It’s a car accident … My neighbor, he hit the tree. I see him and he’s laying down.”      

       When the dispatcher asked if the person was unconscious, the neighbor responded, “Yes.”        

New NBA wife Khloe Kardashian may want to slow her roll.  According to Mediatakeout.com, Kobe’s wife Vanessa Bryant was ready to WHOOP Khloe Kardashian’s azz for talking RECKLESS during a Lake game last week.

Apparently Vanessa came to the game with some of her bodyguards, and Khloe tried making some slick comments about her. Here’s how the Chicago Sun Times is reporting it:

One nearby observer claims both Khloe and Kris voiced snide comments about Laker wives. Kardashian supposedly was irked seeing Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, accompanied by bodyguards as she went to the ladies room.

When Bryant heard about the complaint, she reportedly just rolled her eyes and added her own ‘’stage whisper” to the chorus of Laker wives’ comments.

According to the singer’s website, Ashanti has entered into a new partnership with Reveille LLC as Executive Producer and will appear and oversee a new music-based competition tv show. Last we saw of her, she was reprising the role of Dorothy on film, in Jim Henson’s “The Muppets’ Wizard of Oz,” and on stage in the off-Broadway production of “The Wiz.”

“I’m excited about the opportunity to be working with Reveille LLC, one of the tv industry’s heavyweights,” said Ashanti, “and I can’t wait to begin production.” Reveille is known for popular and award-winning hit series including, The Biggest Loser, The Office, and Ugly Betty.

Day26 have announced that they have parted with Bad Boy Records. This comes as no surprise to us, as they are now part of a long line of artists who’ve got the short end of the stick when it comes to signing with music mogul Diddy.

Speaking with AOL’s The Boombox, member Willie Taylor said: ”Bad Boy is always our family, but we’re with Atlantic right now”

Diddy had previously secured a distribution deal for Bad Boy with Atlantic Records (who went on to snatch the guys up once they became free agents). Yet he, himself, opted to sign with Interscope Records, where his latest project, ‘Last Train to Paris’, with new group Dirty Money (featuring former Danity Kane star Dawn Richard and singer-songwriter Kaleena) will be released.

I’ve been telling you guys that Keyshia Cole is pregsnant, even though her peeps have denied it.  Well it seems that the rumors just may be true.  According to one of our trusted gossip website necolebitchie.com, readers are sending her info confirming that Keyshia IS indeed pregnant. Is Keyshia Cole pregnant?…Maybe this was already confirmed and I missed it but I will tell you the story anyways!

So I am on facebook and the owner of the hair shop I go to said she saw Keyshia Cole and Boobie in Beachwood Mall. She actually met them. The mall is in the Cleveland area and Boobie and Keyshia are often seen there. However the women who met them said she was six or seven months pregnant! Oh lorddd…when did this happen. I mean seven months is pretty far along. I figured you would find this interesting because you posted on something about Keyshia on Twitter the other day!

She was spotted with Boobie in Cleveland on Sunday giving away turkeys and groceries to 150 families at the Bethany Baptist Church.

I saw it with my own 2 eyes. This event was in the Steeleyard Commons. And a guy that works in the Beachwood mall told us he had seen her in the LV store and she was big.        An embarrassed Jennifer Lopez called into Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show on Monday to discuss what happened the night before, when she fell on her behind during a comeback performance on the “American Music Awards”

        “Did I trip a little bit? I don’t even remember,” joked Lopez, 40. “Yeah, I meant to do that. That was part of the choreography.”       

       Seacrest gave her props for immediately jumping back up and finishing the performance.       

       “The measure of things isn’t what happens when you fall, it’s how you recover when you fall,” she said.

An unlikely couple may be in the making.

Janet Jackson was spotted warming up to actor and ladies’ man Colin Farrell. According to eonline.com, the two were seen last week sitting side by side in a booth at the renowned Polo Lounge located in the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Jackson performed a medley of her hits on Sunday night’s “2009 American Music Awards.” Meanwhile, Farrell has several movies in the works.
