Sheree Whitfield told it all to VIBE about why she left “RHOA” saying, 

“We don’t see the editing or what’s going on until the few days before everyone else and I saw how it affected my kids and their lives seeing their parents on TV, in court fighting. It’s just not good. So I felt like I needed to step back, because at the end of the day, I am more than just what you see on TV.”  

She added, 

“Do I think African American women are portrayed in a negative light? Yes, I do. To me it’s not a race issue, it’s a gender issue.”

After look at the whole interview two things are certain…Sheree has a huge ass AND she is crazy!!

LisaRaye McCoy covers Jet Magazine and talks about what really went down between she and Stacey Dash…and what caused Stacey’s sudden departure from VH1 “Single Ladies.” Lisa says she doesn’t have the clout to get Stacey Dash fired but there was something going on because she is no longer there. On moving on without Stacey Dash who played her best friend on the show:

Believe me I wish things had worked out because I thought Stacey and I were great together.  She was my age and we were working it.  It was sex-symbol to sex-symbol.  But she didn’t want to be there.  I was disappointed about that.  She had some issues.  I’m not sure exactly what those issues were.  In the end, she and VH1 made a decision.

On the catfights that really went down on set

Yes, there was a disagreement over a scene.  And it really wasn’t with me.  It was with the director.  I think it was about 2 or 3AM and we’d been shooting all damn day.  Stacey tried to argue with the director about a line.  And I’m like: “Girl, if you don’t say what the director wants you to say.”  It wasn’t that serious at first, but it went there.

It’s a bunch of women on the set.  We might all be on our damn period at any given point.  I just wanted us to move forward.  Then the argument took on a life of its own.  The show decided to use it for publicity.  They just ran with it.

On which Hollywood friend she had to dump

Duane Martin.  I introduced him to my ex-husband [former Turks & Caicos Premier Michael Misick], he got buddy-buddy with him and then turned against me.   Just recently, this fool Duane up and sold a building he and I bought awhile ago in Los Angeles, without asking…I don’t care if we’re not friends, just don’t try to f**k me in the interim.

When I heard about him in the middle of Will & Jada’s divorce rumors, I tweeted: sounds familiar.  He really aint got enough business.

106 and Park hosts Rocsi and Terrence will be leaving BET after 7 years.  They joined the show in 2005 after being discovered by BET’s ‘New Faces’ Talent Search.

Terrence is pursuing his career in movie and television and Rocsi hosts a national syndicated radio show, ‘Rocsi On The Radio’ and will be moving to Cali to pursue a career in acting.

Chuck Brown, known as the “Godfather of Go-Go,” has passed away .

Brown died Wednesday at Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore. Hospital spokesman Gary Stephenson confirmed Brown had died after a hospital stay that began April 18.

His publicist says the cause of death is multiorgan failure due to sepsis.

Brown’s passing comes about a week after the Washington Post confirmed that the musician, considered  the pioneer of Go-Go music, had been hospitalized with pneumonia.

Shortly after his death was confirmed, radio stations across the D.C. metro area were filled with his music. Sadness and grief over his passing was soon replaced by a celebration of his life by so-called “Chuckaholics” – his most ardent fans.

“We came out to celebrate the life and legacy of a D.C. icon,” Chuck Brown fan Luis Cardona said. “I’m a Chuckaholic from way back.”

Donna Summer died this morning after a battle with cancer reports TMZ

She was in Florida and sources say Summers was trying to keep the extent of her illness a secret…she was trying to focus on an album she had been working on.

Summer was a 5-time Grammy winner who shot to superstardom in the ’70s with iconic hits like “Last Dance,” “Hot Stuff” and “Bad Girls.”She continued her dominance in the ’80s with “She Works Hard for the Money” and “This Time I Know It’s for Real.”

Summer and her producer Giorgio Moroder defined the dance music era of the ’70s and influenced acts like Duran Duran and David Bowie to enter the genre.

Summer married Brooklyn Dreams singer Bruce Sudano back in 1980. They had two daughters together.

DJ Drama tweeted about his illness:

“First they wanted to keep it quiet, but he’s not a quiet guy. He should be cool. It’s nothing that serious. We still gonna do our promo.”

WHOA!! Joey Lawrence has just signed on as the new man-stripper crew at Chippendales in Vegas, reports TMZ.

A rep for Chippendales says

“Lawrence will don the legendary bow tie … and not much else … for a special engagement at the Rio from June 7th-24th.”

We’re told Joey will sing, dance … the “whole nine yards.”

He is not the first to do this..they have had 98 Degrees singer Jeff Timmons and former “Bachelor” star Jake Pavelka.
