Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa Bryant, has filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.”

TMZ reports:

Vanessa who stuck by Kobe after he was charged with sexually assaulting a Colorado woman in 2003 decided to end the marriage because she believes Kobe has been unfaithful again.

As one source puts it, “She’s been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she’s finally had enough,” adding, “This one is the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

And our sources say Kobe “desperately” wants to win Vanessa back and will do “whatever it takes” to save their 10 1/2 year marriage.

According to the legal docs, Vanessa is asking for joint custody of their 2 daughters — 8-year-old Natalia and 5-year-old Gianna — but Vanessa is asking that Kobe get visitation rights, which means she wants the kids in her care most of the time.

We’ve learned the couple has no prenump, so 29-year-old Vanessa is entitled to half of the empire Kobe built over the last decade.

She’s also requesting spousal support which is typical in divorce cases.  Kobe, who filed his response to the divorce minutes after Vanessa filed her petition, says he will pay her spousal support.

According to the docs, Vanessa is being repped by disso-queen Laura Wasser and attorney Samantha Klein. Wasser reps oodles of celebs, including Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie, Maria Shriver and Kim Kardashian.

Kim Kardashian is going to file for divorce this morning, after only 72 days of marraige to Kris Humphries.

TMZ says that she will not seek an annulment and Kim cites “irreconcilable differences.”

The date of separation is listed as today, Oct. 31, 2011.

Kim has hired Laura Wasser, who has repped the likes of Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds, and Robyn Gibson, Mel’s almost ex-wife.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver will split around $400 million, and legally it’s supposed to be divided  up 50/50, because we know there’s no prenup.

Maria filed for divorce and the division of property is yet to be determined. Because there is no prenup, under California law, all earnings and other property acquired during the marriage is considered community property, which means a 50/50 split.

Arnold’s worth is estimated at $300 million, while Maria’s is around $100 million.  Since the couple has been married for a quarter century and it’s probably impossible to separate what they each had before they tied the knot, it’s likely the entire pot of money will be considered community property.

This divorce will never go to trial. It is going to settle out of court, and nothing requires Arnold and Maria to agree on a 50/50 split. Typically in these cases, there’s a lot of horse trading … Maria gets this house, Arnold gets that one, etc.

Maria’s lawyer, disso-queen Laura Wasser, and Arnold’s attorney, Bob Kaufman, will be hashing out the property settlement agreement probably for months.

We will never know the terms of the final property settlement agreement, because it’s going to be confidential.  Standard operating procedure for high-profile divorces.

Maria Shriver was in Chicago with Oprah Winfrey for the taping of her farewell show and together they took a blatant shot at Arnold to the delight of 20,000 fans.

Maria walked on the United Center stage tonight with Oprah’s bff Gayle King and declared O had always given her “love support, wisdom, and most of all the truth.”

Oprah backed that up by emphasizing, “THE TRUTH!”

Other guests at the show Aretha Franklin, Halle Berry, Simon Cowell, and Jerry Seinfeld … and Usher closed the show as confetti rained down on the crowd.

Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered a baby with a member of his household staff, and that is what sent Maria Shriver packing … and right into the office of a powerful financial adviser to get her affairs in order to end her marriage.

Sources say Maria was distraught after learning Arnold pulled a John Edwards. The baby mama worked for the family for two decades, retired and received a severance package, according to the L.A. Times.

The baby was born more than a decade ago, but until recently Maria thought the father was the woman’s husband at the time.

Schwarzenegger told The Times,

“After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago. I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.”

Maria has no comment.

The baby was found out about,  5 days ago, but everyone in the Schwarzenegger camp was denying it.  But sources told us Maria was “completely distraught” yet determined to move on with her life.  She has not pulled the trigger to end her

marriage on the legal side, but she has been working with a very powerful financial adviser who has been helping her position herself for a divorce.
