Shakira posted the news in both English and Spanish on her website about the soon to be arrival of a child.

“As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby! At the time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities over the next few days,” Shakira wrote.

She announced that she would be canceling her appearance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on September 21 and September 22, where she was set to perform along with fellow Latin entertainers Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull, according to Huffington Post.

Pitbull is facing a lawsuit from Lindsay Lohan for mentioning her in the hit song “Give Me Everything.” So what did he say: “I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.” Pitbull responded to Lohan’s lawsuit saying He mentioned Ryan Seacrest in the song also and isn’t being sued by him so why is she.

Lohan also names Ne-Yo and producer Afrojack and says it caused “irreparable harm.” She must still be on that blow…she is crazy, but I guess you can sue someone for anything but doesn’t mean you are going to win.
